What is ProgramsFlow?
ProgramsFlow is a bilingual (Arabic/English) platform for managing the full lifecycle of academic programs in universities and colleges: writing program and course specifications, routing them through committee review and approval workflows, tracking versions, and publishing an always-up-to-date public catalog.
Who is ProgramsFlow for?
Universities, colleges, and academic institutions of any size. Deanships of development and quality, accreditation units, curriculum committees, college and department leadership, and faculty members all work in the same system with permissions scoped to their role, college, or department.
How does ProgramsFlow help with academic accreditation?
Accreditation reviews live or die on documentation. ProgramsFlow keeps program specifications structured and versioned, records every review decision with who took it and when, maps learning outcomes across courses and programs, and produces a complete audit trail — so evidence for reviewers is generated by daily work instead of assembled in a last-minute rush.
Can we model our own review and approval workflows?
Yes. Workflows are fully configurable: you define the stages, which committee or role is responsible at each stage, the forms and checklists reviewers fill in, and deadlines with automatic reminders. New program proposals and amendments to existing programs can each follow their own path.
Does the platform support Arabic?
Arabic is a first-class language, not a translation layer. Every screen works fully right-to-left, all program content can be authored in Arabic and English side by side, and the public catalog serves both languages from the same links.
What is the public program catalog?
Each institution gets a branded public site listing its approved academic programs — study plans, admission information, and program details — in Arabic and English. It updates automatically when a new version is approved, and it is indexable by search engines so prospective students actually find it.
How is our data protected?
Each institution's data is strictly isolated. Access is governed by role-based permissions scoped to institution, college, and department, sign-in is handled by a dedicated identity provider, and every significant change is recorded in an append-only audit log that administrators can review and export.
We already have program specifications in Word and Excel. How do we start?
You don't start from zero. Study plans and course tables can be imported from spreadsheets, specification templates are configurable to match the formats you already use, and a preset library provides ready-made templates and process types you can copy and adapt.
What add-ons are available beyond program management?
The ProgramsFlow family includes optional add-ons that share the same data and permissions: IndicatorsFlow for key performance indicators and target tracking, and CoursesFlow for teaching loads, sections, and timetables. Each institution enables only what it needs.
Can we try ProgramsFlow before committing?
Yes — a live public demo is available with no sign-up: you enter as a realistic persona and explore programs, review workflows, and the public catalog with sample data. For a guided walkthrough tailored to your institution, contact the team through the contact page.
What does ProgramsFlow cost, and how does it compare to alternatives?
The subscription is annual and per institution — not per user — sized to the institution and the add-ons it enables, so cost stays predictable as usage grows. Compared to building an in-house system or licensing broad enterprise suites, it is a fraction of the cost with a platform that is ready to use from day one. Contact the team with a brief description of the institution for a tailored quote — usually within one business day.
