Courses and study plans
Manage course records, credit models, prerequisites and corequisites, year-long courses, and level-by-level study plans — with automated plan-health checks before a case can advance.
Course records and credit models
Each course carries a bilingual name, a unique code, contact hours broken down by activity type, and credits computed from the institution's own hour-to-credit ratios. Courses can be scoped to one program or shared across programs through baskets, and duplicate codes are surfaced rather than silently allowed.
Prerequisites and corequisites
Courses declare prerequisites (must be completed earlier) and corequisites (must be taken in the same term). The study-plan validation engine checks both: a prerequisite placed at the same or a later level, or a corequisite pair split across levels, is flagged in the plan-health analysis before the plan can be approved.
Year-long courses
A year-long (سنوي) course spans two consecutive semesters. It occupies both levels in the study plan but its credits count once, at the starting level — the platform keeps the pair consistent automatically when levels shift.
Study-plan rules and plan health
Institutions define plan rules — total credits, per-level load ranges, and distribution requirements — and the validation engine evaluates every plan against them. In a workflow case, blocking violations stop the case from advancing until they are resolved, so councils only ever see plans that already pass the institution's own rules.
