Templates and fields
Templates turn program specifications, self-studies, and committee checklists into structured bilingual forms, with over twenty field types including tables, computed values, and outcome matrices.
Forms and checklists
A template is either a form — a structured document such as a program specification or course description — or a checklist used by committees to record structured reviews. Templates are attached to process-type stages, so each stage asks for exactly the documents it needs. A preset library ships ready-made templates you can copy and adapt.
Field types
Fields cover the full range of academic content, and each type carries its own configuration:
- Text, rich text, numbers, dates, and single or multiple choice for standard form content.
- Tables (repeaters) with typed columns — the backbone of study plans and course lists, with spreadsheet import for bulk data.
- Computed fields that derive values from other fields with formulas.
- Outcome matrices that align program and course learning outcomes, and graduate-attribute alignment grids.
- File uploads for evidence and supporting documents.
Validation and required fields
Shape validation runs on every save, so malformed data never enters the record; required-field enforcement only applies at submission, so authors can save incomplete drafts freely. Fields can also be marked read-only when their content is pre-filled by the platform and should not be edited by hand.
Reuse across processes
The same template can serve many process types, and outcome mappings reference template fields directly — so a well-designed program specification template becomes the single structure behind creation, amendment, and periodic review alike.
